Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (Privacy Policy) to track user interaction, as well as Squarespace built-in Analytics (Privacy Policy). We use this data to determine the number of people using our site, where they are from and to better understand how they find and use our web pages and to see their journey through the website. This data is however not connected to specific individuals and are therefore not considered to be personal information.
Newsletter and contact forms
By signing up for our newsletter you agree that the information provided, name and email, will be stored to fit the stated purposes; to provide you with updates, blog posts, early bird offerings and other Cashew Kitchen related content. We use Mailchimp (Privacy Policy) as our email marketing service. The email you provide will not be stored within our website’s own database but will we forwarded to Mailchimp and remain there for as long as we continue to use Mailchimp’s services or you specifically request to be removed from the list. You can do this by clicking the unsubscribe link inside any email you receive from us, or by contacting Agnes at agnes.gallhagen@gmail.com.
Please note that your will NOT be added to our newsletter by contacting us through a contact form. Any information you share through a contact form on this site will go straight to our CEO Agnes Gällhagen’s Gmail account (Privacy Policy) and will not be shared with anyone else. However, we would advice you to always consider email to be an insecure medium and not include any personal, confidential or otherwise sensitive information.
Comments
Should you choose to add a comment to any posts that we have published on our blog, the name and email address you enter with your comment will be saved to this website’s database, along with your computer’s IP address and the time and date that you submitted the comment. This information is only used to identify you as a contributor to the comment section of the respective blog post and will not be passed on. Only your name will be shown on the public-facing website. Although if your email address is linked to a Gravatar account (Privacy Policy), your Gravatar photo will also be displayed. You can always chose to comment anonymously.
Your comment and it’s associated personal data will remain on this site until we see fit to either remove the comment or remove the blog post. Should you wish to have the comment and it’s associated personal data deleted, please contact Agnes at agnes.gallhagen@gmail.com. This does not include information that we have to collect due to administrative, legal or security reasons.

Who has access to this site
This website is password protected through Two-Step Authentication. The only people who have access to this website are our CEO & appointed Data Controller Agnes Gällhagen and our Graphic Designer & Editor Amanda-My. In the (unlikely) event of a data leak we will keep you posted about it here on the blog.
